Paeon

With one of the more interesting stories in Greek mythology, Paeon started as a skilled healer under the tutelage of Asclepius. He became so skilled that Asclepius grew jealous and sought vengeance. In order to protect Paeon, Apollo turned him in to a peony plant. Additionally, peony plants, roots and flowers, were used extensively throughout the ancient Greek world for healing. Paeon smells of sweet pea and peony and we also pair his products with opalm a stone associated with healing.
